Campaign Launch!

Vermonters for Justice in Palestine launched our Apartheid Free Burlington campaign this past weekend, September 16, 2023. We tabled at the Burlington Farmer's Market and collected over 100 signatures for our upcoming petition to Burlington's mayor and city councilors. Our goal is to collect 1,550 signatures by January 18, 2024, putting the issue of Palestinian freedom directly in the hands of Burlington voters.

At a time when more and more progressives, activists, and academics are recognizing the proverbial elephant in the room, we are proud to be part of the growing chorus recognizing Israeli's governement for what it is: an apartheid regime against the Palestinian people. The time is far past where we can be "progressive" on everything but Palestine. Our struggles are connected.
